On September 19, 2024, G DATA CyberDefense & FUNKE MediaSales NRW invite you to a joint networking and information event on the G DATA campus in Bochum. The focus will be on cyber security and brand safety.

Interesting presentations and exchange

Participants can look forward to a series of topic-related presentations that will provide insights into current developments as well as space for exchange and discussion. Among other speakers, Tim Estermann, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the FUNKE Media Group, will report on the momentous cyber attack on Germany’s leading regional media publisher and the subsequent digitalization.

Andreas Lüning, co-founder and board member of G DATA CyberDefense, will speak about the NIS-2 Directive (Network and Information Security Directive 2). This updated EU regulation is intended to strengthen cyber security in several sectors within the EU and is due to come into force on October 18, 2024. It therefore requires urgent action from many companies.
