With eurobits e. V., an umbrella brand has been successfully established since 1999, under which leading research institutes, committed companies in the industry and young growth companies have united.
Currently, 52 different members belong to eurobits.
Each member brings an enormous treasure trove of valuable specialised knowledge from the field of IT security and information security. This makes eurobits the competent contact for enquiries about current IT security topics with technological, economic and scientific relevance.

In 2017, the European Competence Centre for IT Security (eurobits e.V.) will award the eurobits Excellence Award for the first time to students for outstanding theses in the field of IT security and information security.
eurobits is an active member of the European Cyber Security Organisation.
The aim of the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) is to support initiatives and projects to develop, promote and strengthen European cyber security. In particular, the focus is on the promotion of the European Digital Single Market and its protection against cyber threats, the further development of the European IT security industry, and the development of European cyber security solutions for the critical elements of reliable supply chains.
